The hastagst #female and #male on instagram are the material of creation of this work, going through all their stereotypes.
Each of the two projectors represents a label. Their images merge into thin floating transparent sheets. These reflect the mingled image onto the surrounding walls. The boundaries between the two projections are broken, creating fluid, indefinite, moving images.
The work overturn the norms of the public space into an envroment made of poetic abstractions.
Inside here, everything is fragile: every micro-event is echoed by the sheets' reflective capabilities and its weightlessness.
The spectators, by moving, breathing, being there, experience the fragility of the sourrundings.
Or, actually, their fragility are expanded into the space.
This work goes beyond the lyricism of the word, making sensibility capable of more subtle perceptions through a contemplative observation.
