It consists of a dynamic situation for bodies who want to unleash their inner drama queen as an act of radical connection with their emotions. While a dj plays, we are busy reinterpreting rules, roles, performance and ambience of men’s soccer to subvert dominant gender roles as well as national narratives. It is not a space of competition or formality, but rather of pleasure, shared rhythm and individual expression.
In this real-time narrative, there is no time to build a lie as bodies are too bounded to their emotional input of the moment.
